The Palace Royal Hotel in Quebec City will host the second edition of the Ethnocultural Diversity Entrepreneurial Day (JEDE) which will take place on November 28, 2024, from 8 AM to 12 PM. 120 people are expected at this event organized by Entreprendre Ici with the support of the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI). This morning is dedicated to the exchange and highlighting of entrepreneurial diversity and will bring together entrepreneurs from various backgrounds, with rich and inspiring journeys, along with socioeconomic actors from the Capitale-Nationale.
The event will showcase entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity, highlighting their impact on economic vitality and innovation in Quebec. By providing a space to discover and engage with these entrepreneurs, this day allows for the emergence of concrete pathways to support their development, strengthen their inclusion in business networks, and create a more equitable business environment. The 2nd edition of the JEDE aims to be a conducive framework for sharing initiatives focused on well-being, mental health, and access to resources for entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity.
An inspiring program to explore inclusive journeys and practices:
Participants will be able to discover inspiring journeys and discuss inclusion issues through:
- Opening remarks and motivating testimonials : An introduction to the challenges and successes of entrepreneurial diversity, to illustrate the richness of the journeys.
- A panel of entrepreneurs and experts : Stories of resilience and innovation, highlighting the potential of entrepreneurship within the ethnocultural communities of the region.
- A conference on well-being and mental health among diverse entrepreneurs : An essential topic to support entrepreneurs in their journey, promoting a balance between performance and well-being.
- Discussion groups : Inclusive practices and access to resources will be addressed, with a sharing of experiences between entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners.
