Partnerships and Event Sponsorships Officer
Title: Partnerships and Event Sponsorships Officer
Location: 8250 Décarie Boulevard, Montreal (remote work policy in effect)
Start date: As soon as possible
In addition to our support services, we develop and coordinate a range of projects and tools designed to address entrepreneurs’ real needs and complement the services offered by our ecosystem partners.
The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing Entreprendre Ici’s visibility and representing the organization, as well as in developing strategic partnerships across the entrepreneurial ecosystem to benefit the entrepreneurs and communities we serve.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with organizations across Quebec’s and Canada’s entrepreneurial ecosystems.
- Identify, initiate, and manage strategic partnerships to expand the reach and impact of our services.
- Closely monitor partnership commitments, agreements, and outcomes.
- Represent Entreprendre Ici at meetings, committee sessions, and events within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal teams (communications, entrepreneurial support, and project development) to integrate partnerships into the organization’s activities.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and tracking tools for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Develop an annual sponsorship strategy aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
- Develop sponsorship plans and packages tailored to different types of partners (businesses, organizations, award recipients, etc.).
- Negotiate agreements and ensure compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate the fulfillment of contractual commitments related to events.
- Prepare accountability and performance reports.
- Support senior management in official meetings and engagements with funding partners.
- University degree in event planning and management, public relations, project management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in partnership management, event coordination, or business development.
- Relevant experience in partnership management, organizational representation, event coordination, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of key partners within Quebec’s entrepreneurial ecosystem (non-profit organizations, financial institutions, economic development organizations, and industry networks).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Initiative, autonomy, attention to detail, and a strong team spirit.
- Awareness of and sensitivity to diversity, inclusion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
- Ability to communicate in other languages is an asset.
- Experience working with Quebec economic development organizations and institutions is an asset.
- Proficiency with digital project management and CRM tools is an asset.
- Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week) with flexible working hours.
- Summer schedule: every other Friday afternoon off.
- Hybrid work arrangement: Montreal office conveniently located near a metro station, with the option to work remotely.
- Group insurance benefits and a group RRSP.
- Three weeks of annual vacation, plus additional time off during the holiday season.

- Occasional travel may be required (a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are considered assets).
