Perspectives aims to highlight and celebrate ethnocultural diversity entrepreneurs in various regions of Quebec. We strongly believe that diversity is a source of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial success

Competition
The competition is open to all entrepreneurs from ethnoculturally diverse backgrounds residing in different regions of Quebec. We are looking for visionary, innovative, and committed entrepreneurs who have successfully overcome challenges and built thriving organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial journey, achievements, social impact, and contributions to their community.
A panel of experts, composed of business professionals, community leaders, and representatives of the Perspectives project, will evaluate applications based on criteria such as innovation, entrepreneurial success, social impact, and relevance to ethnocultural diversity
Only five selected winners will have the opportunity to have their stories and organizations showcased through professional video profiles. These videos will be shared across various social media platforms, as well as at events and conferences focused on entrepreneurship and ethnocultural diversity..

The videos will follow the theme “Weaving Success: Quebec’s Entrepreneurial Patchwork of Ethnocultural Diversity.” This guiding theme will showcase the richness and diversity of Quebec’s entrepreneurial landscape by highlighting entrepreneurs from ethnoculturally diverse backgrounds who contribute to this unique patchwork.

Student Events
The five winners of the Perspectives competition will have the opportunity to actively participate in the “Ethnocultural Entrepreneurship Days” awareness events.
During these events, you will be invited to share the engaging video profiles highlighting your entrepreneurial journey with the student community. These profiles will be showcased in the common areas of participating universities and CEGEPs..
Panel discussions will also be held, giving you the opportunity to connect with students and share your inspiring journey. This is a unique opportunity for students to discover each of your remarkable stories and learn from your experiences.
Youth Workshops

Evaluation Criteria
Originality : We are looking for organizations that inspire admiration and creative ideas that stand out for their innovative nature and their ability to push boundaries.
Inspiration : We want to discover inspiring stories of entrepreneurs from ethnoculturally diverse backgrounds. Your perseverance, determination, and the efforts you have made to overcome obstacles are key factors.
Social Contribution : We will consider the impact your organization has on society or the community, whether through philanthropic initiatives or community projects.
Success : We will evaluate the idea’s potential to influence the market, address unmet needs, and generate public interest. We will also consider your commercial, financial, and social success.
We invite you to share your entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the challenges you have overcome, the key moments in your success, the lessons you have learned, and the advice you can offer to other entrepreneurs.
