Entreprendre ici is pleased to announce the hiring of the new general management of the organization. During the rigorous process we followed, we had the opportunity to meet a large number of very interesting candidates. The selected candidate meets the requirements of this key position for our organization, which is responsible for supporting entrepreneurs from the ethnocultural diversity of Quebec and continuing to ensure good management of the funds granted by the Government of Quebec.
We are therefore pleased to announce that Ibrahim Kabore has been serving as the general director since January 22, 2024. He is a passionate professional with a master's degree in administration (MBA), focused on a research project on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Quebec. With nearly 10 years of experience dedicated to advising and supporting entrepreneurs, he has gained a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that mark the entrepreneurial journey. In addition to his consulting expertise, Ibrahim is an experienced entrepreneur in the energy and business technology sectors in the African market. His innovative vision and commitment to sustainable development are reflected in his entrepreneurial initiatives.
Ibrahim recently held a leadership role, leading a team of about thirty people within a non-profit organization at the heart of the Montreal ecosystem for employability, entrepreneurship, and psychosocial intervention. His ability to inspire and lead is reflected in the growth and cohesion of his team.
Involved among other things as a business management mentor at Futurpreneur Canada, jury member of the STA Financing committee at the Quebec School of Entrepreneurs, and member of the economic development table of the East of the Island of Montreal, Ibrahim actively contributes to the visibility of the entrepreneurial community by sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Ibrahim's versatility as a researcher, entrepreneur, and engaged leader makes him an essential figure in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, significantly contributing to the growth and sustainability of businesses.
Unfortunately, in light of these developments, Rouba Hamadi has informed us of her decision to leave Entreprendre ici, effective immediately. She has chosen to take on new challenges related to her professional aspirations. We would like to sincerely thank her once again for serving as interim executive director over the past three months as well as for her five years of service and numerous achievements. We wish her the best of success in her future endeavors.
