Montreal, October 21, 2025
Entreprendre ici, in collaboration with Quebec’s Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), is pleased to unveil the 50 companies vying for the prestigious Ethnocultural Diversity Honorific Grants.
Spread across 13 regions of Quebec, these companies operate in sectors such as technology, food, cosmetics, and services, among others, and distinguished themselves from nearly 900 applicants.
Eligible projects underwent a rigorous selection process conducted by an expert evaluation committee from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR).
Diversity was a highlight of this edition:
- The finalist business projects are led by entrepreneurs from 24 countries.
- The finalist entrepreneurs include 30 men and 20 women.
- Among the 50 finalist companies, 27 are startups and 23 are in a growth phase.
The next steps will involve a presentation before a second independent jury, following which 24 recipients will be selected to receive a non-repayable grant of up to $25,000.
Entreprendre ici congratulates all these ambitious project leaders and invites you to join them on Thursday, November 13th at the Palace Convention Centre in Laval for the Gala evening to unveil the winners of this 8th edition.
