Entreprendre ici is pleased to announce the launch of the Inter-Action Cultural project.
Entreprendre ici, whose mandate of expertise aims to break down the barriers that block the inclusion of entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, integrates an intercultural approach into its support process. With the financial contribution over three years from the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI), the Inter-Action Cultural project aims to raise awareness of the intercultural approach. Awareness workshops on the intercultural approach will be given to stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem in 10 administrative regions of Quebec (Estrie, Lanaudière, Mauricie, Outaouais, Laval, National Capital, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Centre-du-Québec, Laurentides, and Gaspésie).
A more welcoming community
The Inter-Action Cultural project is a unifying project. Indeed, this project aims to equip stakeholders in the community to welcome and support entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity in the region. These workshops will be offered to the economic sector (NPOs, MRCs, consultations, economic development agencies, Chamber of Commerce…) and aimed at those who are in direct contact with immigrants and the general population. This approach will allow for exchanges on the intercultural approach, intercultural management, intercultural communication, the Quebec business code, unconscious biases, prejudices, and stereotypes.
Days of intercultural entrepreneurship
Entreprendre ici wishes to organize intercultural entrepreneurship days twice a year in different regions of Quebec. The contribution of entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity This structuring project facilitates inclusion and proposes better integration by establishing solid foundations of recognition while participating in changing mindsets.
Since 2018, Entreprendre ici has been helping entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity to realize their business projects across all regions of Quebec, with services offered on-site, by phone, or by videoconference. About Entreprendre ici
Entreprendre ici is an initiative of the Government of Quebec (Ministry of Economy and Innovation) that was created in the wake of the Government Action Plan on Entrepreneurship 2017-2022. The organization aims to provide tailored support to entrepreneurs from ethnocultural diversity in all regions of Quebec to facilitate the realization of their projects.
