After more than five years of outstanding service, Payam Eslami has decided to pursue new challenges outside our organization. Payam oversaw the creation and development of Entreprendre ici and its services. The organization has gained provincial recognition and reach, becoming the go-to resource for supporting entrepreneurs from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds across Quebec. Its ability to provide tailored support to entrepreneurs from all cultural communities helps turn their business projects into reality. Entreprendre ici has successfully positioned itself as a source of added value that complements the services already available in the region.
Helen Keller once said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." During his tenure, Payam embodied this maxim, guiding Entreprendre ici with passion, keen insight, and inspiring leadership. His strategic vision and unwavering commitment to entrepreneurs from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds were the driving forces that propelled our organization forward. Under his enlightened leadership, Entreprendre ici has made its mark across all of Quebec’s administrative regions, achieving significant milestones and forging strong ties with partners in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. His contributions form the foundation of the organization, continuing to inspire our team and guide our efforts toward even greater success.
The competent and dedicated team at Entreprendre ici will ensure continuity on an interim basis until a new Executive Director is appointed. The permanent staff and the Board of Directors are committed to maintaining the positive momentum built up over the years.
