Entreprendre ici announces the opening of the call for applications for the Ethnocultural Diversity Honorary Scholarships, running from June 26, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to August 7, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
This year, 24 Honorary Grants of $25,000 each will be awarded by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy (MEIE), in partnership with Entreprendre ici. Designed exclusively for immigrant entrepreneurs in Quebec to support the creation or expansion of their businesses, these grants complement traditional financing options and stimulate entrepreneurship in the province. Each year, hundreds of entrepreneurs compete for one of the largest non-repayable grants within Quebec’s entrepreneurship support ecosystem.
The 24 winners will be announced at a gala evening taking place on October 29, 2024, in Montreal. The ceremony will bring together the 50 finalists selected by an independent jury, partner organizations, members of the business community, the press, and political representatives.
